Living on Long Island means the ocean is always close, and Jones Beach—especially Field 6—has become one of my constant sources of inspiration for my contemporary art. What began as simple studies of beach life evolved into a vibrant series of miniature acrylic paintings that capture sun-soaked scenes and the men who frequent the shore. Celebrated by my LGBTQIA+ audience, this collection, influenced by my passion for punk art, quickly grew in popularity, resulting in more than one hundred paintings sold and solidifying its place as one of my most beloved bodies of work.
